 I’ve been teaching English for Academic Purposes, English Writing, Conversational English, Literature, Newspaper Reading, British Culture, Extensive Reading, Comprehensive English, Public Speaking, the Listening course to the English majors and university students majoring in other subjects for 20 years in China.  Worked out my own courses and teaching materials in Conversational English, English Writing, Listening, Newspaper Reading and Conversational Russian and Russian Writing for colleges and high schools in China.  Consulted the Chinese university teachers of English on the curriculum development and teaching different subjects in the English curriculum  Consulted the teachers of Russian on teaching Oral Russian and using the media for the language teaching.  Advised students on their BA dissertations in Literature, Cultural Comparisons and Applied Linguistics for 8 years.  I’ve chaired the research groups in different colleges, some of them up to 15 college teachers and students preparing for academic careers and their articles get published in peer-reviewed editions in Asia.  Taught Russian at Chinese universities for 4 years.  Taught and coordinated English Writing courses in Chinese universities for 10 years.  Published books and articles on China in Russian and articles on teaching English in China and Chinese university life (in English and in Russian) in peer-refereed journals.  Participated in many international conferences and forums on English Language Teaching, Linguistics, Culture Studies and Philosophy  17 undergraduates in the research group I’ve supervised presented their findings at international TEFL, EFL, TESOL, Linguistics conferences in many Asian counties.  Taught the Conversational English course online to hundreds of Chinese students of different majors.  Instructed Russian-speaking students of different levels from the beginner to advanced, in Conversational English and professional English (IT, Law, Economics), using the Communicative Language Teaching and student-centered approach for 5 years.  Organized extra-curricular activities in the Russian Department of Shijiazhuang University and the South-West Petroleum University and the English Departments of Jiaying University and Guangxi University.  Consulted the language training schools in different cities in China  Reviewed the academic papers related to TESOL, ESL, EFL and teaching English in China Programs I coordinated 2017-present The research group of students of the 1-2 grade developing and testing the teaching materials for the Conversational English course in grade 1-2 of the English Department 2019-present The group of students working on developing the Russian teaching materials for the Russian Department 2010-2013 The Elective course: The Applied Linguistic and TESOL research methods in the form of weekly seminars and student’s presentations of their research papers and guest speakers' talks at Xingjian College, Guangxi University, China 2008-2013 The B.A. Students Research Group. Xingjian teachers and Grade 2/3/4 students’ participation in the international EFL/TESOL/Applied Linguistics conferences in the Asian countries such as the Asian TESOL, the Thai TESOL, Cambodian TESOL, the Korean TESOL 2003-2008 The Literature group: undergraduate students working on their BA dissertations on Literature and Cultural Comparisons at Jiaying university, China Courses I coordinated 2017-2020 The Russian Writing and Conversational Russian courses at the Russian Department 2008-2010 The Writing courses at Xingjian College taught by up to 15 foreign experts to grade 1 and 2 students.
