Projects:
1. “T9Nav"
Our test team is engaged in testing of "T9Nav" product (www.t9nav.com – “Nuance Communications” project). Our tasks consist of testing of this application and its interaction with the standard features for mobile devices (Nokia, S60 series):
My responsibilities were:
• Perform functional testing;
• Maintain tests;
• Validate tests according to requirements;
• Create new test cases for new requirements and new settings of this application;
• Extend and maintain test sets on features implemented;
• Create test suits for regression testing;
2. "SEMC"
Our test team is engaged in testing of Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 (Windows Mobile 6.5) product (http://www.sonyericsson.com/).
Our tasks consist of
1. Feature testing. The most part of my work deals with testing of following applications:
• Settings (Phone Settings, Communication Manager, Bluetooth Settings, Auto Lock Settings, Sounds and Notifications Settings, Clear phone memory Settings, Device Information, Backlight and Power management, Optical Joystick etc.);
• Services (Time Zone Service, Illumination Service);
• Java applications;
• Panels on Today Screen (Google Panel, Growing Panel, Pixel City Panel, Spb Mobile Shell etc.) and Panel Manager (special SE feature);
• Registry testing (using “Remote Registry Editor” application);
2. Integration testing. The most part of my work deals with testing of following applications:
• Panels on Today Screen and Panel Manager (special SE feature);
• Settings (all settings of the phone);
• Java applications;
• Games;
• Play now Arena Service;
• Adobe Flash Player;
• Adobe Certification testing;
3. Random testing all features of the device.
4. Perceived quality testing.
My responsibilities were:
• Perform functional testing;
• Maintain tests;
• Validate tests according to requirements;
• Create new test cases for new requirements and new features;
• Extend and maintain test sets on features implemented;
• Create test suits for regression testing;
Furthermore, an important part of our activities was work with defects submitting, verifying and overall supporting.
Searching for power consumption issues causes incorrect work and none-stability of the product.
Also I participated in requirements, issues and product quality discussion with developers.
Core skills
Good experience in all main software test phases:
• Test development;
• Test execution;
• Defects tracking;
• Wide range of tools usage (Quality Center, BugZilla, Test Track client, VPN, DMS and special tools for WM devices: Active Sync, Flash Apalooza).
• Wide range of equipment usage (GSM Racal Digital radio test set 6104, Power Monitor)
3. “PCC”
Our test team is engaged in testing of PC Suite product for Android (HTC, Dell). Work with testing of cooperation between PC and device (Synchronization, AutoCopy, Backup of device etc.).
My responsibilities were:
• Perform functional testing;
• Maintain tests;
• Bugs verification and bugs support.
